Intentional Chaos
For some, all this may create confusion.
Creating intentional confusion may seem an odd approach. Yet, dissidence and discord can helpful in “shaking things up” and bring you to a different perspective. Through this way answers can frequently invite questions. Some of my best teachers have been those who created chaos. They orchestrated experiences where one is required to think and create in the heat of the moment. Spontaneity rules and offers fresh approaches.
They say that one way to deal with fear during an earthquake is to run out to a safe spot and begin to scream in anger at the ground. For most, it is not possible to have to strong emotions such as anger and panic operating if full force at the same time.
Old Dog suggests that you approach some of what is offered chaos as you would an impressionistic painting. Stand back and let the thought/image flow over you and be conscious and mindful of how you feel and think and experience the moment. If, you stand too close to the painting (what I am saying), it may only appear as a chaotic storm of dots and splashes of paint.
