The Word - Divinely Inspired
A preacher’s kid told Old Dog this. That, his Father said that as important as believing that the Bible is the inspired word of God is whether you are divinely inspired in how you read it. That unless you can read Hebrew and Aramaic, it a fairly grandiose assumption that you can claim that possess an absolute and unfailing understanding of it meaning. His father warned that the Bible was not a novel and was best read in context historical, cultural, and an understand of how humans use the scriptures for their own mundane and profane ends.
Actually for you personally, the very existence of God exists because of your belief and practice of faith. Without that you have little or nothing. Cultivating an accountability for that relationship and comprehension opens your spirit to be fulfilled in the most authentic and vital ways.
Old Dog says, “Literal and factual are not the same thing. And Metaphors can offer a truer meaning” “Live meaning of the Message not merely the words.”
?? From what we see and know of politics is it too much of a stretch to believe that this touch of human was a intrical part of the creation and deloverance of the Word. To understand and be gifted by the Word we must be diligent in being conscious of strengths and frailties which challenge the clarity of what we know and can practice.
